I just remembered: I still love NRBQ!This week is a dedication to Sharbles and Mokky Wikky. Sharbles because we always liked the sappy songs by the Q and Mokky because a long time ago we spent all afternoon with our noses in dusty used 45s at Hymie's Vintage Records looking for the original single by Patience and Prudence. NRBQs version is quite a bit less strangely spooky than the P and P version, so I'm going with this one. It's just so dang sweet...

You know, if I didn't know better, I'd almost suspect you have having a beebee just so you could play NRBQ for him all the time.
The original by Patience and Prudence may be heard at www.alligatorboogaloo.com. I was curious and found it on the web, as I sang it in the late 50's and remembered it after hearing Megan Mullaly sing it at the Orange County PAC last week.
